The trains are coming to McAdam Railway Station, and this one is for all ages.
On June 20 and 21, the Saint John Society of Model Railroaders (SJSMR) will take over the main waiting room with an impressive two-day display of model railway layouts from across the region.
The highlight? A custom LEGO model of McAdam Station itself, built by Patrick Bourgoin of MariLUG from the station’s original architectural drawings. It is the kind of detail that stops you in your tracks.
Browse the displays, watch the trains run, and take in a piece of railway history brought to life in miniature. Door prizes will be drawn, including rare Canadian Pacific Railway collectibles donated by local collector Dave McInroy.
This event is free to attend. A donation box will be on site, and you can also support the station online using the link below.
