School Group Tours

The McAdam Railway Station provides onsite educational tours that will fascinate students of all ages. We help bring history to life through interactive, fun, and educational tours to school groups throughout New Brunswick. Through the introduction to artifacts, oral history, photographs, and interactive presentations, visiting the McAdam Railway Station helps students discover Canada’s rich railroad history while learning some of the local history of McAdam, New Brunswick as well. School group tours also include a discussion of railway safety around live railroad tracks.

This educational program is free to all students and the accompanying teachers, chaperones, and education assistants. Reservations are required. Please contact info@mcadamstation.ca or call 506-784-3525 for additional information or to book your school group tour.

Community Education

The McAdam Railway Station is proud to participate in an educational program hosted by the McAdam Public Library where members of the McAdam Historical Restoration Commission bring their knowledge and experience to the library to present topics or activities related to railroad history and local history to groups of adults and children. Please visit the McAdam Public Library Facebook page for an up-to-date listing.
